Vastushodh Unveils 'AnandGram' At Bhandgaon

Largest affordable housing project by a private developer in the country. First project in the segment to receive funding. Range of smartly-designed homes with revolutionary pricing

Pune, August 10: City based Vastushodh Projects, a pioneer and leader in affordable housing, has strengthened its position further in the segment by announcing the launch of India’s largest affordable housing project by a private developer. The company has unveiled its ‘AnandGram’ project at Bhandgaon on Pune – Solapur highway.

This was announced by Mr. Sachin Kulkarni, MD, Vastushodh Projects, during a press conference held in the city today. 
Mr. Nitin Kulkarni – Director, Mr. Sharad Mundra – VP Commercial and Ms. Swati Deshpande – VP Marketing of Vastushodh Projects were also present on the occasion.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Sachin Kulkarni said, “We are happy and proud to undertake one of the landmark developments in affordable housing sector in the country, which will fulfill dreams of many of those who never imagined owning organized living at such an affordable price.”

“This ‘AnandGram’ project has many firsts to its credit. Apart from being the largest affordable housing project by a private developer; it also has the distinction of being the first project in the segment to have received funding from a private equity fund Avenue Venture Partners”, he added.

The project will come up on a 22-acre picturesque plot at Bhandgaon on Pune – Solapur highway, near Yavat, and will have over 2000 affordable homes spread across 31 modern buildings that would be built in parking + 7 floor format. It will have multiple options like a Studio Apartment, 1 RK, 1 and 2 BHK homes with compact, regular and large-size options. Sizes of homes would range from 249 sq. ft. to 857 sq. ft. and shall be priced in the range of Rs. 6.20 lakh to Rs. 22 lakh (All inclusive pricing). Four different types of sample flats are ready at the site

Some of the amenities at ‘AnandGram – Bhandgaon’ include lifts, community halls, multipurpose playground, school, shopping area, solar water heater, solar powered street lights, internal concrete roads and generator backup. The project has received all required permissions and the construction work will begin from next month.

While describing some of the other highlights of the project, Mr. Nitin Kulkanri said, “One of the major highlights of the project is its location. It is on the 4-lane highway and is just a 30-minute drive from Hadapsar. Commuting to the city from here would get easier in the near future as a a result of the soon to start Daund – Pune – Lonavala local train, with which one can reach Pune Railway Station in just 25 minutes.” 

“Many a times, customers from the segment face a lot of problems in getting home loan, since most of them belong to unorganized sector and thus do not possess required documents. We at Vastushodh have made special arrangements for all such customers by tying up with financial institutions like Microhousing Finance Corporation, Home First Finance Company, HDFC and ICICI. Thus, everyone who wishes to own a home here will not be deprived of his / her right to get a home loan. In fact, one can own a home here by saving just Rs.161 to Rs.568 per day,” he informed.

Vastushodh Projects has approached Maharashtra Housing Development Corporation and is trying to get a certification for this project, so that the home buyers will be entitled for 6.5% subsidy on interest housing loan, which can transform into a financial benefit up to Rs. 2.4 lakh.

Vastushodh is setting up a special facilitation centre at Kanyadan Mangal Karyalay near Gadital, Hadapsar from 15-22 August, where customers can see the film and walk through presentations of this project, get all the information about the project from the sales staff, and can also avail the facility of site visit instantly.
