Pune, March 18: City based Vastushodh Projects, the company known for its outstanding work in affordable housing segment is all set to make its revolutionary housing brand 'AnandGram' for the low income group more adorable with added features.

An announcement to this effect was made by Sachin Kulkarni, MD, Vastushodh Projects during a Press Conference held in the city today. Nitin Kulkarni, Director, Vastushodh Projects, Swati Deshpande, Vice President Marketing and Sharad Mundra, Sr. VP Large Projects were also present on the occasion.

'AnandGram' is a housing project specially aimed at catering to the needs of lower & middle income group, where homes with all required amenities are provided in the price range of Rs. 5 to 20 Lacs. 'AnandGram' projects are built in the suburbs on highways connected to Pune that are just 25 to 35 Kilometers away from the city of Pune.

Speaking on the occasion Nitin Kulkarni said, "The first upgraded 'AnandGram' with more than 500 homes will come up at Ketkawale, near the famous Balaji Temple on a spacious and picturesque 8 acres plot in the lap of a hill. It will set an all new benchmark in the affordable housing segment with the additions of some of the most desired features and amenities."

"This new upgraded 'AnandGram' will have tall, elegant buildings of parking plus 7 to 9 floors along with lifts having generator backup, unlike the earlier 'AnandGram' projects, where the buildings have been constructed in the Parking + 4 floors format without lifts", he added.

According to him, some new features that were not a part of earlier 'AnandGram' projects are being offered in this upgraded 'AnandGram' at Ketkawale. For example, internal concrete roads, beautiful landscaping, solar system, rain water harvesting, sewage treatment plants, balcony, dry balcony, sit outs, powder coated windows with grills and reputed Jaguar bathroom fittings to name a few.

"Thoughtfully designed flats that lay emphasis on good cross ventilation and better utilization of space shall be available here with options like 1RK (302 sq ft), 1BHK (491 to 520 sq ft) and 2 BHK (741 sq ft) in the price range of Rs.7.5 Lacs to Rs.20 Lacs" informed Sachin Kulkarni.

He further added that some distinct features that will make this 'AnandGram' stand out include a full-fledged English medium primary school within the premises, a special area for essential shopping, a polyclinic for healthcare needs and a dedicated shuttle service every hour from 'AnandGram' to Satara – Pune highway junction at Kapurhol.

Vastushodh Projects launched its first 'AnandGram' project at Yawat on Pune Solapur highway in the year 2010. The concept received massive response and was completely booked within a week. It also received may prestigious accolades like CREDAI Award for 'Best Affordable Housing Project in India', The AESA Award by Architects, Engineers and Surveyor's Association for making the socially responsible project apart from the very prestigious and credible 5 Star Rating from CRISIL.
